Most Of Rebel Candidates Withdrew Their Nominations

October 9, 2013: altogether 185 candidates most of them had filed their nominations for independent candidates against their political-party-official candidates for the direct elections to a new CA have withdrawn their nominations from the Election Commission Offices at various constituencies.

 

Leaders of major political parties have faced the rebel candidates that have been dissatisfied with the nominees made by the party leadership, and they have filed their nominations as the independent candidates against their party candidates.

 

Leaders have been successful to convince some of the rebel candidates of the need for withdrawing their self-nominations to candidates for the elections to a new CA.

 

The final list of the candidates will be publish on October 11, 2013, the ballot papers for the direct elections will be printed. Names of candidates and their election symbols will be in the ballot papers. Each constituency will have its own ballot paper, as each constituency will have different candidates and different number of candidates.
