Dolesvor Mahadev – Head Of Kedarnath

August 10, 2013: Nepalis have been worshipping Dolesvor Mahadev in the Sipadol Village of the Bhaktapur district as the head of Kedarnath but it has come to the limelight after the head of Kedarnath Mandir in the Uttarakhand State of India Swami Vimasank made it public in August 2008. Since then not only Nepalese devotees but also Indian devotees have been visiting Lord Dolesvor Mahadev en mass.

 

Attendant at the Dolesvor Mahadev temple Bacchu Jangam has said that “Dolesvor is the head of the Kedarnath” is mentioned in the 15th verse of the 19th Chapter of the Shiva Puran, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.

 

Attendant Jangam has said that cash offering made by the devotees amounts to Rs 100,000 daily. He has said that he collects all the money and then, he deposits it with the Dolesvor: Head of Kedarnath Development Committee.
