By KTM Metro Reporter
October 15, 2012: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav today made it clear that the dissolved assembly "cannot be resurrected at any cost". "Since the Interim Constitution and the Supreme Court verdict state that election is the only way forward the parties do not have any other option," RSS quoted President Dr. Yadav as saying while talking to reporters in Dhanusha.
The president also said that the Maoist-Madhesi coalition government couldn’t break the current deadlock and a national government inclusive of the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML should be formed. Concerning the Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai's remarks that the President, as the constitutional head of state, should stop making political statements, Dr. Yadav said, "I don't think it's necessary to bother about who is saying what," writes nepalnews.com.
Speaking at a program in Brussels, Chief of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda has said that the dissolved Constituent Assembly will be revived before Tihar in the second week of November, as elections cannot be held without reinstating the CA, writes nepalnews.com.
