Fifth National Game of 2009

On April 06, 2009, President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav opened the Firth National Game of 2009 releasing a number of pigeons in the stadium in Kathmandu and said, “The Fifth National Game has brought everyone into one platform to demonstrate brotherhood in the playground”.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Fifth National Game, Prime Minister Prachanda said that the government would build a number of stadiums of different categories in Kathmandu and other places throughout the country and would provide the sportspersons with security.
