Financial Assistance Of The World Bank

June 28, 2011: Secretary to Ministry of Finance Krishna Hari Baskota and Nepal Country Director of the World Bank D. Goldmark have in Kathmandu yesterday signed off an agreement on the World Bank providing Nepal with a grant and loan assistance of two billion and 940 million rupees for two projects such as Kaveli Power Transmission and Wildlife Preservation, ‘Gorkhapatra’ of today writes.
The World Bank will provide Nepal with a grant of 760 million rupees and a loan of one billion and 964.5 million rupees for the Kaveli Power Transmission Project, and a grant of 215.1 million rupees for the Regional Assistance for Wildlife Preservation in Asia.
