West Bengal Nepal Chamber Of Commerce And Industry Team In Nepal

July 29, 2011: the newly elected West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has dispatched a team of West Bengal Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (WBNCCI) to Nepal to ascertain the possible cooperation between Nepal and Indian state of West Bengal on enhancing the industrial and business activities.
The WBNCCI team has met with Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal at his office Singh Durbar yesterday. Prime Minister Khanal has told the team that West Bengal is a close neighboring state of India with long standing business partnership with Nepal, and welcomed the positive development of industrial and business prospects in West Bengal and hoped that the new development will have positive impact on Nepal, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.
The WBNCCI team has informed Prime Minister Khanal about the plans of the West Bengal Government on developing the entry points at Jogbani, Kakarvitta and Pashupatinager to enhance the tourism development in both the countries.
