Appreciation Of Fighting Against Terrorists

May 4, 2011: issuing a statement in Kathmandu, the Government of Nepal has appreciated the death of Osama bin Laden in the operation of the US forces in Abbotabad of Pakistan as a major achievement in the fight against the global terrorism

The US Special force had killed Osama bin Laden on the Sunday night. World leaders have appreciated the clean task performed by the US Special force for eliminating one of the deadliest terrorists that had terrorized the civilized world.

Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force (APF) have beefed up security across the country after U.S. forces killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden in Pakistan on Monday, the English.peopledaily.com reports today.

The security forces have enhanced their watch on the U.S. embassy, its recreational center and the U.S. ambassador's residence.

Immediately after U.S. President Barak Obama announced the death of Osama bin Laden, the U.S. embassy in Nepal has also alerted its own security network as well. The security personnel were told to be on constant vigilance.
