Visit of British Minister for International Development

On Monday, November 24, 2008, British Minister for International Development Mike Foster arrived in Nepal to see the development activities undertaken by the Department of International Development (DFID) in Nepal.
On November 25, 2008, Minister Foster said that the British government would provide Rs 170 millions worth of assistance for rehabilitating the victims of the Koshi floods, and also would provide Rs 540 millions for constructing two bridges in eastern Nepal.
The British Minister visited some community forests developed with the assistance of the British Government.
