Hang Killer of Khyati

On July 17, 2009, the police have presented the alleged killer of Khyati: student of Jubilant School in Kathmandu, and his accomplice at the Kathmandu District Court. Locals have shouted, “Hang the killers” and attempted to attack the alleged criminals when they were brought to the court. When the police protected them from the attackers the locals have assaulted on the police causing injuries to some police and even damaged the windows of the offices of the district court, as some stones pelted at the police have hit the windowpanes.
