December 2, 2010: chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda has said that the sixth plenum of his party on Sunday, November 28 has unanimously decided to give the top priority to institutionalizing the peace and completing the constitution writing; however, it has also warned of a people’s revolt if plots against the peace process and the constitution writing continues, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of December 2, 2010 writes.

At the same time, speaking at a program held in Kathmandu, one of three Vice-chairmen of UCPN-Maoist Mohan Baidhya ‘Kiran’ has said that other political parties have been trying to kill a constitution before it is written prolonging the political deadlock, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of December 2, 2010 writes and quotes Kiran, ‘Even the Speaker has not taken concrete steps to resume the House." He has warned of a people’s revolt if other political parties continue dilly-dallying for too long to abort the peace process and writing of a new constitution.
