By KTM Metro Reporter

March 11, 2011: a Nepalese soldier has raped a Tibetan woman activist at Svoyambhu in Kathmandu; the authorities have confirmed the incident stating the culprit has been arrested, according to the news posted on Speroforum.com today. Violence against the Tibetan exiles in Nepal is due to the government acting against the Tibetans under the pressure of the Beijing authorities according to the news reports.

The Nepalese authorities say that they have to act against the Tibetans protesting against the Chinese rule in Tibet under the obligation of the one-China policy means Tibet is an integral part of China.

However, Tibetan activists say that the Nepalese Government is not obliged under the one-China policy to abuse the fundamental human rights of Tibetans denying them to march or hold a peaceful rally against the Chinese rule in their homeland.
