Special Invitee Lashes Out At Event Organizers

August 7, 2013: speaking at the function held at the Educational Manpower Center Sanothime to make five books written by Iswori Prasad Pokharel public, Chief Secretary Lilamani Pokharel lashed out at the organizers of the event saying they have used the State property for making the privately written books public, and making the presence of so many State employees at the private event, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
Certainly, all the state employees including the minister, and the chief secretary have used the public duty on making the five books written by Iswori Prasad Pokharel public. Why Chief Secretary Pokharel himself attended the private function at the cost of the State. He could have not to attend the function but also could have stopped it.
Minister for Information and Communication Madhav Poudel released the five books. He made no strong comments on the business of releasing the books.
Former Prime Minster Madhav Nepal had used the State fund for publishing his speeches in book forms. Why should not other State employees use the State property at least for releasing the books? We hope that Mr Iswori Prasad Pokharel has not used the State time for writing the books.
