Bribe-taking Officials At Kathmandu Airport

After receiving a number of complaints of the airport officials asking for bribe especially from the Nepalese travelers at the Kathmandu airport, the Nepalese anti-corruption body called ‘Commission on Investigation into Abuse of Authority’ has posted a team to the airport to watch the behavior of airport officials and workers toward the travelers and has found that the complaints are true. The Commission has instructed the Ministry of Civil Aviation to take measures for stopping such malpractices at the airport.
