Political Weeds Out Says Prime Minister

Issue 02, January 10, 2010

By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

On January 8, 2010, Prime minister Madhav Nepal, his Finance Minister Surendra Pandey and Forest Minister Deepak Bohara have been at the Chitwan National Park to weed out the wild plants called ‘banmara’ means the killer of forest. In fact, this plant encroaches on other plants to grow in such a way that soon other plants disappear from the area.

In response to the black-flags shown to him by the Maoist cadres while on the way to the Chitwan National Park, Prime Minister Madhav Nepal has dubbed them as the political weeds forgetting most of his cabinet members and he are actual political weeds, as they are the members of the cabinet without the people’s mandate.
