President Of NC Koirala In India For A six-day Visit

August 6, 2013: President of NC SushilKoiral accompanied by two general secretaries of NC: Prakash Man Singh and Krishna Prasad Sitaula has been in India since Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
President of NC Koirala visited Rajghat: a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi in New Delhi and paid heartfelt tribute to the late leader Gandhi, according to the RSS news on gorkhapatraonline.com.
President of NC Koirala had a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh in New Delhi yesterday. At the meeting, Koirala briefed Mr. Singh on the political development in Nepal.
Indian Prime Minister Singh in turn has said that Nepal needs to hold elections to a CA scheduled for Novembers 19 for peace, prosperity and political stability in Nepal, and bring all the election-opposing political parties to participate in the elections, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today. Indian Prime Minister Singh also has said that all democratic forces should be united.
Mr. Koirala has been the fifth Nepalese leader that has visited India at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. Previously, Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda, Vice-chairman of UCPN-Maoist Dr Bauram Bhattarai, Senior Leader of NC Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Senior leader of CPN-UML Madhav Nepal had visited India at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
