Four Nepalese Peacekeepers Injured In Sudan

December 26, 2013: four Nepal Army personnel in the UN Peace Keeping Mission in Sudan sustained minor injuries when the mortar bomb shells went off, according to the RSS news on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com’.

 

The Nepalese peacekeepers sustained minor injury in the explosion of four mortar shells set off by the rebel force inside the perimeter of the Nepali Battalion at Bor in South Sudan during the time from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 said, the Directorate of Public Relations of the Nepal Army.

 

Minor damages were done to three trucks, one mine-protective vehicle, one-water treatment plant and one kitchen unit in the incident, said the Directorate of Public Relations of the Nepal Army.
