July 27, 2012: Speaking at the function of the release of a new book at the Shital Niwas presidential office today, Head of State President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has said that the politics has become an 'industry' instead of a service to the country and people, and expressed his concern for not institutionalizing the achievements made by the people’s movements repeatedly held from 1951 to 2006, writes ‘The Himalayan Times’.

At the meeting with the prime minister held at the Shital Niwas presidential office today, Head of State President Ram Baran Yadav made it clear to Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai that elections to a new CA would not be possible without reaching an understanding among the political parties, and suggested the prime minister to take initiative for building a consensus on holding the polls for a new CA; however, the president was positive to the two ordinances the cabinet had passed today and taken to the president for issuance, according to nepalnews.com.
