NC President Girija Koirala Returning From Singapore

On November 22, 2009, NC President Girija Prasad Koirala and his entourage are returning home from Singapore after getting the medical checkup that costs millions of rupees but he does not need to pay for the bills as the government of Madhav Nepal has already decided to pay for the bills of his medical checkup and for the hotel bills of his daughter and Deputy Prime Minister Sujata Koirala. It is not clear whether she has accompanied her ailing father Koirala as a daughter or has gone as Deputy Prime Minister.
Maoist Chairman Prachanda has met with Koirala in Singapore when he went to train his party cadres and they have agreed on a mid path to follow for resolving the current political deadlock forming a new coalition government after the Koirala’s arrival at Kathmandu. However, the NC parliamentary party has decided to give continuity to the support for the current government.
