Foreign Employment Bond of 2010

June 15, 2010: The Central Bank of Nepal called Nepal Rastra Bank has issued bonds for the Nepalis working in South Korea, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab emirates. Nepalis can buy bonds minimum of 5,000 rupees in their names and names of their family members such as father, mother, sons and daughters. They can buy the bonds in the currencies exchangeable at the Central Bank of Nepal and at the exchange rate set by the bank on the day of the purchase of bonds. Bonds are for five years and hold 9.75 per cent interest payable in Nepalese rupees in Nepal.
