No Change In Election Date And In Government

Issue 38, September 22, 2013

By KTM Metro Reporter

September 15, 2013: at the meeting held at its Nyabanesvare office yesterday, leaders of the four-party political mechanism, and newly joined parties have decided that they will not make any change in the election date and in the current government, as changing these things means inviting problems and uncertainty of holding elections, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.

The leaders also decided that except for making changes in these two things, they could request the Election Commission for technical matters that concern CPN-Maoist and 33-party front it has led, to meet their demands.

CPN-Maoist has demanded changing the current government and forming a new government of all political parties, and changing the election date. If the CPN-Maoist continues its demand for these two things it will have no chance of taking part in the elections.
