Ongoing Seventh General Convention Of UCPN-Maoist

February 5, 2013: holding a press conference in Hetauda today afternoon, Vice-chairman of UCPN-Maoist Narayan Kaji Shrestha said that he put forth his views differing from Chairman Prachanda’s political dossier at the closed session of the ongoing seventh general convention including the national sovereignty, according to THT ONLINE of today.
Speaking to the reporters in Hetauda today, spokesperson for the UCPN-Maoist Agni Sapkota said that 13 groups’ leaders out of 63 have presented their conclusion and suggestions over the Chairman Prachanda’s political document.
At the closed session, most of the speakers feared that the new party policy might lead the party to the path of the CPN-UML and ultimately lose its basic character causing the sacrifice of 13,000 comrades go astray.
