Prime Minister Ready to meet the demands of Madheshis

On Tuesday January 29, 2008, inaugurating the newly constructed 100-bed building of Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center in Kathmandu, Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala said, “I would like to make a declaration in front of martyr Ganga Lal that I will fulfill the desires of the Terai people. I am fit and fine and nothing will happen to me until the elections are held." He called on the agitating Madheshi groups to participate in the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections slated for April 10 and promised that he would fulfill all their demands according to ‘The Rising Nepal’ of January 30, 2008.
