Business Code Of Conduct Made Public In Kathmandu

July 29, 2013: at a function held in Kathmandu yesterday, Chairman of Interim Election Council Khil Raj Regmi made the Business Code of Conduct public, and said that only the sincere, transparent and consumer-oriented businesses would flourish, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
The National Business Initiative (NBI) has coordinated the private sector business community to prepare the 'Business Code of Conduct'. Federation of Nepal Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Nepal Chambers of Commerce, Federation of Cottage And Small Industry, Hotel Association of Nepal, Nepal Petroleum Dealers Association, Nepal Foreign Employment Business Association, Nepal LP Gas Industry Association and so on have committed to follow the Business Code of Conduct.
Chairman of National Business Initiative said that following the Business Code of Conduct, the businesspeople would not provide the politicians and their parties with donations, gifts and services or benefits directly or indirectly; the code of conduct has given the priority to the sincerity, transparency, and credibility, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
