Missing People Show Up

July 8, 2010: Bhabani Prasad Dhamala: a resident of Dilalpur-9, Bal Krishana Chaudhari: a resident of Dilapur-6 and Indra Bahdur Khattri: a resident of Dodari-9 of the Bardiya district listed as missing during the conflict have showed up said Representative of INSEC Man Bahdur Chaudhari; he also said that the three missing persons listed on the district administration’s list of missing persons were not found on the INSEC list of disappeared people causing the suspicion of the faulty records of the administration, and the INSEC found them alive after the search according to the state-run newspaper ‘The Rising Nepal’ of July 7, 2010.
Families of those so-called conflict victims had received the relief package provided by the local government. Chief District Officer of Bardiya: Beni Madhav Gaynwali said that he did not know about the show-up of these people; if he found them alive he would initiate the administrative process to get back the relief packages their families have received.
