Nepal Pavilion At Shanghai Expo

October 19, 2010: the Nepal Implementing Experts' Group that has been managing the Nepal Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo in China has added the exhibition of the Nepali art and culture to the Shanghai Expo, and has started distributing the publicity materials concerning the Nepal Tourism Year of 2011 prepared by Nepal Tourism Board, ‘The Himalayan Times’ writes quoting the state news agency RSS.

Nepalese Ambassador to China Tanka Prasad Karki has opened the Nepali art and cultural exhibition at the Baoshan International Folk-art Exhibition Centre on the evening of October 18 to the public. Attendants to the exhibition have started off distributing the publicity materials concerning the Nepal Tourism Year of 2011 to the visitors

More than seven million people have visited the Nepal Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo during the last five months; officials have anticipated 10 million people visiting the Nepal Pavilion: one of the top ten pavilions in attracting visitors.
