Nepalese Singer Phateman Passes Away

September 10, 2013: Nepalese renowned Phateman Rajbhandari passed away while undergoing treatment for lung cancer at the Chabahil Om Hospital in Kathmandu yesterday midnight at the age of 77.
He had sung several hundred classical songs and regular Nepalese songs during his career as a singer and musician. He was one of the highly liked singers in Nepal. Thousands of his fans have been mourning for his untimely death.
His body will be kept at the Elderly Home at Gaushala in Kathmandu for anybody to pay tribute to him today. His body will be cremated at Aryaghat today.
