Issue 09, February 26, 2012

By KTM Metro Reporter

February 24, 2012: in the press conference held in Kathmandu today, Conflict Victims’ Society Nepal for Justice (CVSNJ) has demanded the immediate arrest of UCPN-M Maoist leader Balkrishna Dhungel indicted by the Supreme Court of Nepal for murder, another Maoist leader Agni Sapkota and Energy Minister Suryaman Dong convicted of human rights abuse, ‘The Himalayan Times’ of today writes.

The irony is that Balkrishna Dhungel convicted of murder is still the member of the parliament. CVSNJ has demanded the Speaker of the House to revoke the membership of the parliament of Balkrishna Dhungel as of former Minister Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta that has been sent to jail for corruption a few days ago.
