Program of President Yadav’s Visit To India

February 13, 2010: First President of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal is visiting India from Feb. 15 to 19 following the invitation of his Indian counterpart Pratibha Devi Singh Patil. President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav will leave Kathmandu for New Delhi on February 15, 2010 and returns back home on Feb. 19, 2010.

On February 16, 2010, his Indian counterpart Pratibha Devi Singh Patil rolls out a red carpet at the Rastrapati Bhawan to receive him officially, and will host an official banquet in his honor in the evening.

President Dr. Yadav will lay a wreath at the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Vice-president Mohamad Hamid Ansari, and Chairperson of Congress and United People’s Alliance Sonia Gandhi will met him. Other top Indian leaders will also meet him.
