Irregularities in Sajha Prakashan

Kathmandu: the Parliamentary Public Account Committee (PAC) has taken up the alleged irregularities in the Sajha Prakashan chairperson cum general manager of Sajha Prakashan has committed after the private media repeatedly reported on this matter.

 

According to the news on myrepublica.com, GM Sharma has not kept the record of annual incomes, made fake documents, printed books illegally, and even transferred NPR 5 million from the Sajha Account to his bank account.

 

Sajha Prakashan is a State-run company set up for publishing various textbooks for Grades XI and XII compulsory subjects. After the current chairperson cum general manager took office, the company has been publishing considerably less textbooks even though number of students has been steadily increasing since 2014, according to the news.
