No Split In UCPN-Maoist Says Dr Bhattarai

April 5, 2011: speaking at the function of opening a cooperative institute in Palung of the Makawanpur district yesterday, Vice-chairman of UCPN-Maoist Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has said that the Nepalese media reports on the ideological clashes within the UCPN-Maoist have been different from the reality; and his party will not split rather move in unity to resolve the problems the country has faced; healthy intra-party ideological differences are helpful to take the party to the right path; so, intra party ideological clashes are a common phenomenon in a dynamic political party like UCPN-Maoist, ‘The rising Nepal’ of today writes.

Dr. Bhattarai has said that taking the advantage of the protracted transitional period, the reactionary forces have been hindering the crafting of a new constitution and the peace process; however completing the peace process and crafting of a new constitution is the only alternative to end the current political deadlock in Nepal.
