Give A Priority To Crafting A New Constitution

Issue 19, May 08, 2011

BY KTM Metro Reporter

May 4, 2011: opening the Eighth Board Council meeting of National Foundation of Indigenous Ethnicity, Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal on Monday has said that the UCPN-Maoist and Madheshi political parties need to give a priority to completing the peace process and the crafting of a new constitution as if his party and the NC don’t need to give a priority to these noble tasks of the nation.

Former Prime Minister Madhav Nepal had spent 20 months doing nothing to complete these two noble tasks but had emptied the national treasury and left the office without paying the bills for the services he took from the companies. The example is the unpaid bills of the services he took from the companies for staging a meeting of the climate change at Kalapathar.

Mr. Khanal has been the prime minister for already three months but he has done nothing except for creating the shortage of petroleum products to make quick money at the cost of the national economy and harassing the people in general.

These guys have been trying to break the record set by former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala of creating the shortage of petroleum products and harassing the people just for making money for their parties and relatives.
