Urging Government To Comply With Agreements

September 12, 2013: a team of the four-party political mechanism yesterday morning went to see Chairman of Interim Election Council of Ministers Khilraj Regmi at his Baluwtar official residence, and urge him to make necessary arrangements to make legal provisions following the six-point agreement reached with the Federal Democratic Front headed by Upendra Yadav, and the five-point agreement reached with the Federal Social Party headed by Ashok Rai, according to the news in ‘gorkhaaptra’ of today.

 

Leaders of the four-party political mechanism have reached an agreement with the Federal Democratic Front on increasing the number of members of a new constituent assembly from 491 the four-party political leaders have agreed on to 585, and then they also agreed with the Federal Social Party to revert back to 601-member constituent assembly.

 

So, leaders of the Federal Democratic Front were not happy with the agreement the four-party political mechanism has reached with the Federal Social party, and did not attended the meeting with Chairman Regmi yesterday morning.
