Dissatisfied High-ranking Civil Officials At Promotion

Some of the highly eligible candidates for promotion to the Secretaries have expressed dissatisfaction at the decision of the Cabinet made on July 24, 2009 on the promotion of Joint Secretaries to the positions of secretaries, and have charged the Cabinet of making decision on the interest of the political parties in the government rather than on the eligibility of the candidates; so, the most eligible and capable candidates did not get promotion according to the local media.
