Rastriya Janata Party Registered At Election Commission

Kathmandu: The Election Commission has registered Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) as a national party fit for taking part in the upcoming elections. RJP is a new party of six Madheshi political parties.
One of the leaders of RJP Mahant Thakur has recently said that RJP will participate in the coming elections if the government meets certain demands that are under the control of the government even though the amendment to the Constitution is not done, as the two-thirds majority without the CPN-UML is not possible, and the CPN-UML is not ready for the amendment, yet.
The second-generation leaders of the RJP and the CPN-UML have been holding dialogues to come to a common understanding; and they are trying to hold the meeting of the top leaders of RJP and CPN-UML, according to the local media news.
RJP has been for not taking part in the elections without the amendment to the Constitution whereas CPN-UML has been no amendment to the Constitution.
