Chairman Prachanda also has warned the dissatisfied faction of his party of they have no any significant place in his party, as they stand against completing the peace process and constitution writing. He has said that the protests launched by Vice-chairman Mohan Baidya faction in his party have no meaning at all, as the peace process is completing soon and the work on the constitution writing also is at the final stage of completion.

Chairman Prachanda has said that the internal ideological dispute of the party would be resolved through the mutual understanding. However, the dissenting faction has started its signature campaign to put the pressure on the promulgation of a pro-people constitution within the deadline of May 27, 2012. Vice-chairman Mohan Baidhya ‘Kiran,’ General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa and Secretary CP Gajurel have launched the protest campaign at different places in Kathmandu yesterday following the protest program.

Speaking at the campaign rally at New Baneshwor, Vice-chairman Kiran has said that they have come to the people following the party decision on putting the pressure on the government for timely constitution; speaking at the signature-collecting program at Chabahil, General Secretary Thapa has warned of rejecting the constitution if that did not incorporated aspirations of the people; speaking at the signature-collecting program at Chabahil, Secretary Gajure has said that the four parties including the establishment of his party have made a ploy to deliver constitution at the night of May 27, 2012, they will reject the constitution that won’t meet the people’s minimum aspirations, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.

Talking to the reporters at Lahan yesterday, President of NC Sushil Koirala has said that a national unity government led by his party NC is essential to complete the peace process and the constitution writing within the deadline of May 27, 2012, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes. He also has said that the NC holds its turn to lead a national unity government, as the UCPN-Maoist and CPN-UML have already led one government after another but have failed to resolve the national problems and ongoing peace and statute writing tasks. President of NC Koirala also hoped that the Maoists would support the NC-lead-unity government if the Maoists were positive and honest to complete the twin tasks of the country within the deadline.

He further said that a federal democracy would be the bottom line of his NC party in the new constitution and stressed that the NC would never compromise with any forces on anything less than the federal democratic system; the NC would never accept the ethnic-based-federal system and one-Madhes one-province system demanded by the Madhesi parties, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.
