Preliminary Draft Of New Constitution By November 30

October 31, 2011: Speaking at a tea reception held in Janakpur by Mithila Madhesh State Committee to mark the Chhatha festival of Maithali people, Bakar Id of Muslims and Nepal Samvat, Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai yesterday has said that the government is bringing out the preliminary draft of a new constitution within November 30, 2001 when the term of the of Constituent Assembly (CA) expires.

Dr. Bhattarai has said that extensive discussions among the leaders of the three major political parties have been ongoing to narrow the differences between the opposition and the government on the remaining issues such as state restructuring, form of government and election system; so, the prime minister is sure that the government will be able to present the initial draft of a new CA within November 30, 2011.
