Suspended King Speaks to Editor

Issue 05, February 03, 2008

By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

Suspended king Gyanendra drove one more nail in his coffin speaking to the editor of the Nepali weekly newspaper called Rastra Bani just before the completion of three year of his misadventure of capturing the people’s power in his hands on February 01, 2005. Speaking to editor Hari Lampsal, the suspended king attempted to justify his actions. He also revealed that he has a secret pact with the seven-party alliance; and he said if it does not work then he would speak out. He seemed to be living in a different world and a different constitution. Obviously, he does not want to recognize the Interim Constitution of 2007.
