A Round Table Conference Or An All-party Conference To Be Held

August 23, 2013: at the separate meeting held with the 33-party front and the Federal Social Party yesterday, leaders of the four-party political mechanism including the Federal Democratic Front (FDF) have agreed with the opposition parties to hold a round table conference or an all-party conference, and resolve all the outstanding political issues by that meeting, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
The 33-party front proposed to hold a round table conference of all political parties registered at the Election Commission but the four-party political mechanism including the FDF proposed a conference of all political parties represented in the dissolved CA.
The irony is that leaders of the CPN-Maoist have neither registered it at the Election Commission nor they can claim it as represented at the dissolved CA, as it was formed splitting away from the UCPN-Maoist long after the CA was dissolved.
