Decisive Talks To Be Held With Election-opposing Political Parties

August 6, 2013: the four-party political mechanism has yesterday decided to hold decisive talks with the election-opposing political parties including the CPN-Maoist, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.

 

The four-party political mechanism will hold a meeting with the federal democratic front led by Upendra Yadav of Madheshi Peoples’ Rights Forum-Nepal, and with the federal socialist party led by Ashok Rai together jointly at the Nayabaneswor office of the four-party mechanism at 11:00 am, and then with the 33-party front led by CPN-Maoist of Mohan Vaidhya at the same venue at 1:00 pm on August 6, 2013.

 

The election-opposing political parties agreed on holding talks with the four-party political mechanism after it sent a third letter without conditions on holding talks.

 

Leader of Tarai-Madhesh Loktantrik Party Hridayesh Tripathi said that the CPN-Maoist has been engaged in the activities of opposing the elections to a CA to justify its split away from the UCPN-Maoist, according to the RSS news posted on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com.’

 

Chairman of the Tarai-Madhes Loktantrik Party Mahantha Thakur has said that the government and the four-party political mechanism need to create an environment conducive to the dissident political parties including CPN-Maoist participating in the elections to a second CA through political dialogue, according to the RSS news posted on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com.’
