Vegetable And Fruits Market At Balkhu

September 17, 2012: a private company called “Sulabh Fruits and Vegetables Management Pvt Ltd” has brought its first market at Balkhu into operation in Kathmandu today. Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai in a function opened it today, according to myrepublica.com.
This is a first private vegetable and fruits market has come to operation in Kathmandu. This market will be competing with the state-run company at Kalimati in Kathmandu. Such a market will help to provide the most perishable goods at the competitive prices if the private company could manage it efficiently. Farmers might get good prices for their products while the consumers would get the quality products at better prices.
