Government Providing Reporter Dhakal With Medical Expenses

June 30, 2011: the government of Nepal has decided to provide reporter Khilanath Dhakal with the future medical expenses and 200,000 rupees for immediate expenses according to the nepalnews.com. However, the government has not been able to bring the assailants to justice, as they have been directly under the protection of the CPN-UML political cadres of various levels including KP Oli.
Chief of Youth Association of Nepal (YAN) Mahesh Basnet have been keeping Parshuram Basnet allegedly the mastermind of the deadly assault on reporter Khilanath Dhakal, and has challenged the Ministry of Home to prove him guilty. At the same time, CPN-UML leader KP Oli has appreciated Mahesh Basnet for saving Parshuram Basnet from the police arrest for allegedly involved in the deadly attack on the reporter.
