Gilani-Nepal Pakistan to work closely with Nepal for regional peace, security: Gilani
ISLAMABAD, Feb 4 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said Pakistan would work closely with Nepal for the realization of common objectives of establishment of peace and security in the region as well as to attain economic progress and prosperity of the people. In a message of felicitation to Prime Minister of Nepal Jhala Nath Khanal, he said, “I feel great pleasure in conveying, on behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan and on my own behalf, warm felicitations on your election to the office of Prime Minister of Nepal.”
“Your election reflects the trust and respect your people have for your leadership. I am confident that under your able leadership Nepal will successfully move towards drafting of a new Constitution,” he added.
The Prime Minister said Pakistan greatly values its relations with Nepal.
“I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency for further consolidating our ties of friendship and cooperation to the mutual benefit of our two countries.”
“I take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for Your Excellency’s personal well being and for the prosperity of the brotherly people of Nepal,” he added.
