Royalists Celebrating Anniversary of Prithvinarayan

Issue 03, January 17, 2010

By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

January 11, 2010: the Civil Committee headed by so-called intellectual and former Minister of Education Modhanath Prashit has gloriously celebrated the anniversary of Prithvinarayan: one of the despotic rulers in Nepal. Modhanath Prashit was once a Minister for Education in the cabinet of Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist and Leninist (CPN-UML) has built a private house while he is a minister saying not from the commissions he has received but from the loans, which he has never paid back.

Mr. Prashit has clearly shown that he is against the federalism as some other so-called petty leaders such as Chitra Bahadur KC, CP Mainali, Pradip Nepal, and Sujata Koirala not having people’s mandate for doing anything have been against federalism. These guys have been worst than Kamal Thapa of the RPP-Nepal, who has been openly advocating for the return of the despotic rule in Nepal.

These petty leaders not having a mandate from the people for doing anything need to know that only federalism will bind together all the ethnic Nepalis in the 21st century. In his time Prithvinarayan had put together all ethnic people at the gunpoint not giving even rights to live humanely serving only the interest of his people. One of the cruelest despotic rulers Prithvinarayan had cut off the noses and lips of the people he had defeated. His cruelty and cruelty of his successor had been the binding glue for putting all ethnic people together in Nepal until the last century. Such things will not be possible in the 21st century.

Chairman of Madheshi People’s Rights Forum Upendra Yadav has said that his party would declare a Madhesh Republic if the unscrupulous political leaders not having the people’s mandate attempt on killing federalism.
