Snowfall in Solukhumbu Paralyze Regular Business

December 19, 2013: the regular business has been adversely affected in the Solukhumbu district due to the snowfall since today morning, according to the RSS news on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com.
It has been snowing in Namche, Khumjung and Chaurikharka, Beni, Goli, Jubhing, Bung, Waku and Kerung: the surrounding areas of the district headquarters: Salleri, and the upper parts of the district from the morning.
People stayed home following the snowfall closing all the regular businesses including the schools today. Teacher Natemba Sherpa said that students could not come to school today due to the snowfall and now the classes would be disrupted for a couple of days; the winter vacation would start next week.
