Lumbini: The Birth Place of Lord Buddha

September 9, 2013: the Central Bank of Nepal called Nepal Rastra Bank is releasing a hundred-rupee banknote with the inscription “Lumbini: The Birth Place of Lord Buddha” on the occasion of the greatest Nepalese Hindu festival called Dasain in October. This will ease everybody using the Nepalese banknote understand Nepal is the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
A lot of confusing messages have been circulated about the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Even the people of the economically advanced countries take India as the birthday of Lord Buddha due to wrong messages circulated in the world.
The central bank of Nepal has taken the most appropriate measure to spread the correct message about the birthplace of Lord Buddha. People believing in Lord Buddha will appreciate the central bank of Nepal for issuing a banknote with the message of the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
