High-level Civil Officials Advised Not To Work Under Pressure

July 1, 2010: after the fall of the Madhav government on June 30, 2010, Chief Secretary Madhav Ghimire to the Council of Ministers has advised his colleagues not to work under the pressure of officiating Prime Minister Madhav Nepal and his ministers saying they are accountable to whatever decisions they make. So, they might need to face administrative actions if they make any decisions not following the rule of law under the pressure of Officiating Prime Minister and his ministers according to the local media report.
A few days go, Prime Minister Madhav Nepal had charged the secretaries with not performing to his satisfaction and not even following his orders but meticulously following the rules and regulations in other words the red tapes.
At the same time, at the meeting held with Defense Minister, Home Minister and secretaries to Home and Defense Ministries and the chiefs of all the four security agencies at Singha Durbar in Kathmandu officiating Prime Minister Madhav Nepal has urged them to be alert in view of the current transitional time according to the local media reports.
