Toppling The Government If Possible
By KTM Metro Reporter
January 20, 2013: speaking at the news conference held by the Press Union Dang Chapter in Tulsipur today, senior leader of NC Sher Bahadur Deuba warned to topple the Bhattarai-led government through the street protests creating a storm of agitation, as Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai was reluctant to build a consensus, according to the RSS news posted on thehimalayantimes.com today.
Mr. Deuba would have done so a long ago if his party and he have the power to do so. Unfortunately, not only Dueba but also the entire opposition has been inept to do anything against the ruling coalition because their approach is disastrously inappropriate. If they have done anything for federalism and federal states they would have succeed in whatever mission they have.
Some of the NC and the CPN-UML cadres have flown to Dailekha to declare their third people’s movement today because they are very shy to show their faces in Kathmandu not to mention the declaration of the third movement, as Nepalis don’t want any movement but peace and stability to institutionalize the people’s achievement made in different movements to topple the despotic rulers in the past.
The so-called leaders of the NC and the CPN-UML have forgotten the federalism and federal states but they see only the chair of the prime minister. So, they made the office of prime minister the target to reach. They could do so only through the constitutional means not by the unconstitutional way of the street protests.
However, they could go to Dailekha or Rukum or any other places in the west or the east they liked, as did the Maoists in 1996 to declare a war or movement whatever they liked. However, they should know that anybody trying to do anything going against the constitutional provisions are bound to land in jail whether it is in UK or in any other countries, as nobody is going to tolerate the abuse of human rights violence any more.
