Labeling School Attackers Criminals And Bringing Them To Justice

July 31, 2012: speaking at the event held by “National Coalition for Children as Zones of Peace and Child Protection" in Kathmandu today, victims of the assaults of the students associated with the CPN-Maoist of the Vaidhya group demanded that the students attacking any schools and damaging any school assets were criminals and the government needed to declare them as criminals and bring them to justice, writes ‘The Himalayan Times’.
Director of the Rato Bangla School, Shanta Dixit said that All Nepal National Independent Students Union affiliated to the CPN-Maoist had attacked her school and had been collecting money from the private schools but the government had done nothing to them; she demanded the government bring them to justice.
Chairman of the Nepal National Guardians' Association, Dharma Bhakta Devkota, said that political parties should keep up their commitments to make the Schools as Zone of Peace not unleashing the students associated to their parties to attack schools in general, writes ‘The Himalayan Times.’
