What Is The Priority Of NC Leaders?

Issue 24, June 12, 2011

By KTM Metro Reporter

June 8, 2011: leading the delegation of NC leaders, NC Parliamentary-party leader Ram Chandra Poudel went to meet Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal at his official residence yesterday and warned him of launching a movement if the government would not stop the transfer of state employees and political appointments and transfer of money from one budget heading to another, ‘gorkhapatra’ of today writes.

It makes clear what is the priority of the NC leaders despite its President Sushil Koirala stating the priority of his party is the peace process and writing of a new constitution.

Clearly, disregarding the completion of the peace process and the constitution writing, some NC leaders are ready to launch a street movement or disrupt the parliamentary session if the government does not meet their demands for stopping the regular business of transferring the state employees and transferring the budget. So, NC leaders are putting the nationally important issues such as the peace process and the constitution writing aside for small things such as the transfer of state employees and of the budget.
