Meeting Between Two Chairmen

September 22, 2013: Chairman of Interim Election Council of Ministers Khilraj Regmi and Chairman of CPN-UML also holding the office of the coordinator of the four-party political mechanism Jhalanath Khanal held a meeting to discuss the various aspects of the administration, according to the news in the ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
Leaders of the four-party political mechanism have been holding the office of the coordinator of the four-party political mechanism in monthly rotation. Accordingly, Khanal became the coordinator of the four-party political mechanism for a month starting on September 17, 2013.
According to the press advisor Bimal Gautam of Chairman Regmi, at the meeting, chairman Regmi has urged chairman Khanal to bring on board the dissident groups of the political parties to make them participate in the elections to new CA.
At the meeting, they discussed the appointments to be made to the vacant offices of the commissioners in the National Human Rights Commission of Nepal, of ambassadors to different countries, and the General Secretary of the SAARC.
Press advisor Gautam has said that Chairman Regmi has assured Chairman Khanal of holding the elections to a new CA as scheduled.
